Located between the Pacific ocean and Nehalem Bay near the quaint town of Manzanita, Nehalem Spit is a 4 mile long narrow section of land known as a sand spit. At the south end, the Nehalem River enters the ocean at a jetty, and Neahkahnie Mountain is at the north end.
